🐢 My computer takes forever to start up ▾

Restart it fully (not just sleep), close unused startup programs in Task Manager, and check if your hard drive is more than 90% full - that alone can cause major slowdowns. If it's still slow after a clean restart with few programs open, the hard drive or RAM may need an upgrade.

⚫ The screen is black but the computer is on ▾

Check the power cable and brightness first. Try plugging into an external monitor - if that works, the issue is likely the laptop screen or its cable, not the computer itself. A screen that flickers before going black often points to a loose display cable, which is a quick fix for us.
